Terms and Conditions of Use McCormick Place Exhibitor and Technical Services Department On-line Utility Orders When ordering from this site, you agree to accept the following terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions"). PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. If you do not wish to become bound by these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this site. McCormick Place Exhibitor and Technical Services Department reserves the right to amend or otherwise change its Terms and Conditions from time to time by posting the amended or changed terms on its site. Such changes or amendments shall become effective 30 days after the date of posting. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE: McCormick Place Exhibitor and Technical Services Department is available to deliver a number of utility services to exhibitors, contractors and show management at the McCormick Place® facilities. Such services include electrical, plumbing, communication and Internet services. Please see McCormick Place Exhibitor and Technical Services Department’s Exhibitor and Utility Ordering Guide. DOWNLOADING, USING AND COPYING MATERIALS: Subject to the Terms and Conditions set forth in this Agreement, McCormick Place Exhibitor and Technical Services Department grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access, use, copy and/or display this site and the materials contained herein, including all forms and the McCormick Place Exhibitor and Technical Services Department Exhibitor and Utility Ordering Guide. You may download, copy or use the information on this site for your personal, non-commercial use only. ELIGIBILITY: This site is only available to individuals who are able to form legally binding contracts under applicable law and is not available to minor children, except where a parent or guardian authorizes and acts on behalf of such minor in using this site. PRIVACY: We only use the information you input in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy. E-MAILS: By using the site, you agree to receive communications from McCormick Place Exhibitor and Technical Services Department via e-mail or by posting notices directly on the website. Communications in the form of e-mail shall satisfactorily comply with all legal requirements that a communication must be in writing. USE OF CREDIT CARDS: If you place your order on line, the only method of payment is by use of a valid credit card. DO NOT SEND CASH. The following credit cards are welcome: American Express, Master Card, Visa or Diner’s Club. By completing the credit card authorization block on the order form, you affirmatively agree to be bound by the terms set forth on the order form, as well as the terms hereunder, and shall become obligated to pay not only for the order(s) placed, but for any additional supplemental charges (including, but not limited to, charges for labor, material and telephone usage) which may be incurred by your company, or a duly authorized agent or employee of you or your company, while at the event/exhibition site. You understand that the utility prices set forth on the order form do not include labor or aerial lift time. Your credit card will be charged separately for such amount(s). Also, please note that if no utility ports are in your booth, your services will be provided from the closest source. You shall be obligated to pay for the additional costs to bring the services to your booth. Your credit card will be charged separately for such amount(s). COMPLETION OF ORDER: Orders made on line shall be deemed "complete" when McCormick Place Exhibitor and Technical Services Department has received all of the following items: (1) the completed Utility Service Order Form, (2) the completed Floor Plan Template (which you are required to fax to McCormick Place Exhibitor and Technical Services Department at: (312) 791- 6113) and (3) authorization by a valid credit card company and full and proper payment for all items ordered. In addition to completion of you order, you, or your authorized representative, will be required to execute and complete a work order describing all additional services and labor which shall be authorized to be charged to your credit card. CANCELLATION OF ORDERS: In the event that you cancel your order, the following cancellation fees will apply:   Description of Cancellation   Cancellation Fee   Full Cancellation of Order Where Services Have Not Yet Been Installed or Used by Exhibitor   Ten Percent (10%) of the Value of the Services Ordered   Partial Cancellation of Order Where Services Have Not Yet Been Installed or Used by Exhibitor   No Cancellation Fee   Partial Cancellation of Order Where Services Have Been Installed but Not Yet Used by Exhibitor (not Applicable to Cancellation of Internet Service – See Below)   Ten Percent (10%) of the Value of the Services Ordered, PLUS All Installation Labor Costs   For Cancellation of an Internet Line That Has Been Installed But Not Yet Used   Fifty Percent (50%) of the Value of the Internet Service Canceled   For Cancellation of Utility or Internet Service that Has Been Installed and Used   The Full Cost Will be Charged TRADEMARKS/COPYRIGHT: McCormick Place® is a registered trademarks of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, and any unauthorized use of these marks is hereby strictly prohibited.
